Mr Andrew K. Asamoah and five others were honoured with a citation on the 5th Anniversary of SHAPE Attitude Ghana on 14th June 2019 for their support to the Organisation since its inception in 2014. The other members are Ms Angela Karmand, Ms Anne Buckley, Mr Emmanuel Woode, Mr William Freeman Goku and Mr Emmanuel Kutorglo.

These people have played significant roles in taking SHAPE Attitude Ghana through the five years that it has been in existence.  The support ranged from technical advice, advocacy, linkages, financial and moral support. In presenting the citations, the Founder of SHAPE Attitude Ghana, Wonderful Baisie Ghartey gave a narration of the advice, financial and moral support as well as advocacy and linkages that Mr Asamoah gave right from the time that the project idea was discussed with him.  Mr Goku, the then Environmental Health Officer in Winneba, and his staff assisted by providing essential data for development of the project proposal. Mr Goku played advocacy role as well. Ms Karmand, Ms Buckley and Mr Woode provided financial support without which it would have been very difficult to run the project for the past five years. The slogan “STAY CLEAN, STAY HEALTHY” was the masterpiece Mr Kutorglo who also permitted his school to be used on one of the popular posters of SHAPE Attitude Ghana.

Mr Andrew K. Asamoah Jnr received the citation on behalf of his father, Mr Andrew K. Asamoah Snr, while Mrs Victoria Amissah Ghartey received the citations of Ms Angela Karmand, Ms Anne Buckley, Mr Emmanuel Woode on their behalf. Mr Kutorglo’s was received by Mr Lord Nelson Ofori.

The event took place at the Jophus Anamoah-Mensah Conference Centre of the University of Education, Winneba.
