Shape Attitude Ghana Donates to Ebenezer Methodist Church, Winneba
On September 13, 2015, Shape Attitude Ghana presented a trash bin to the Ebenezer Methodist Church in Winneba. The director of Shape attitude Ghana, Mr. Wonderful Basie Ghartey who presented the item indicated that the donation was to remind individuals present at the congregation on the need for environmental cleanliness. He cited that, usually when persons found creating waste or littering are approached, their first excuse is “they would clean up later”. Most often as he has observed, they leave the premises without tiding up. On this note, he advised that the best option in the attempt to achieving a clean environment is for us to refrain from dumping waste anyhow and anywhere in the first place.
Receiving the present on behalf of the church, the superintendent minister, Very Rev. Joseph Maxwell Ossei expressed his appreciation for the donation and commended Shape Attitude for the efforts the organisation is making to sensitize communities towards a clean environment. He added that as the popular saying made by John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist church goes “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”. For this he is entreating all followers of Christ to keep their environments clean.
