Shape Attitude Ghana Honours Service Personnel

Shape Attitude Ghana held a colourful farewell ceremony on Saturday, 16th August, 2025, at the residence of its Director to honour its 2024/2025 national service personnel, Miss Grace Idho Asaasim and Miss Priscilla Akoto Osei, in recognition of their dedication and service to the organisation.
The event, characterised by warm fellowship and a buffet reception, brought together members of Shape Attitude Ghana, including Mrs. Victoria Amissah Ghartey, Mr. Amos Amamoo, Mrs. Serwaa Amamoo, Mr. Eric Sekyere Appiah, Mr. Kwesi Bamfo, and Mr. Gilbert Frempong. They gathered to celebrate the achievements of the service personnel and to offer them advice for their future endeavours.

The Project Director of Shape Attitude Ghana, Mr. Wonderful Baisie Ghartey, commended Grace and Priscilla for their hard work, loyalty, and financial integrity during their service period. He encouraged them to stay focused on their goals, particularly in advancing their education, while cautioning them not to let societal pressures, especially marriage, derail their aspirations.
“With only a first degree, you should not consider yourself a fully accomplished university graduate. I encourage you to plan for further education and never allow anyone to divert you from your goals,” he advised.

Sharing her experience, Miss Grace Idho Asaasim expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve with Shape Attitude Ghana, describing it as a life-changing experience.
“At first, I did not know how to draft a story, but Daddy taught us. We also learned computer skills, directing, and even extended our knowledge to basic schools. Honestly, if I were to compare this with what I learned in class alone, I do not think I would have gained even half of this knowledge,” she noted.

Miss Priscilla Akoto Osei highlighted the discipline and professional growth she gained during her service.
“If you want to work effectively with Daddy, you must be time-conscious. I learned that the hard way. Beyond that, Shape Attitude gave me the opportunity to improve my writing and teamwork skills. With increased visibility and resources, the organisation can extend its impact beyond Effutu,” she suggested.
The farewell ceremony not only celebrated the contributions of the outgoing personnel but also highlighted Shape Attitude Ghana’s commitment to nurturing young talent in drama, education, and community development.
