Shape Attitude Ghana Launches School Cleanliness Initiative in Achiase Municipality

Shape Attitude Ghana, a leading advocate for community development and environmental cleanliness, has partnered with the Achiase Municipal Directorate of the Ghana Education Service (GES) to launch an environmental cleanliness awareness and sensitisation campaign in schools within the Achiase Municipality.
The partnership was formalised on Monday, 24 March 2025, at the Office of the Municipal Director of Education in Achiase, Mr Samuel Wadier Kwae, following weeks of consultations. As part of the agreement, Shape Attitude Ghana will organise a half-day workshop for teachers in Achiase town to introduce them to the Shape Attitude Approach.
This innovative approach involves training teachers to champion environmental cleanliness in their respective schools, rather than relying on Shape Attitude Ghana personnel to visit schools directly. This strategic shift is aimed at optimising resources and ensuring a more cost-effective implementation.
Shape Attitude Ghana will provide facilitation services, equipment, and materials, including projectors, public address systems, posters, and trash bins, whilst the Achiase Municipal Directorate of GES will arrange for the meeting venue and invite teachers.
The CEO of Shape Attitude Ghana, Wonderful Baisie Ghartey, presented posters and trash bins to the Directorate, symbolising the commencement of the partnership. A date will be fixed for the upcoming workshop.
This partnership underscores Shape Attitude Ghana's commitment to promoting environmental cleanliness and community development, aligning with its mission to sensitise local communities to change their attitude towards keeping their surroundings clean.
