Winneba Secondary School (Winnesec) embraces Shape Attitude Ghana
The Headmistress of Winneba Senior High School, formerly Winneba Secondary School and popularly known as Winnesec, Mrs Comfort Oti-Akenteng, has implored her students to refrain from indiscriminate littering and dumping of refuse as well as open defecation as advocated by Shape Attitude Ghana. Mrs Akenteng gave the advice at a presentation ceremony of items by Old Students Association (OSA) of the School and Shape Attitude Ghana.
Shape Attitude Ghana Collaborates with GES and UEW to Observe World Environment Day
Shape Attitude Ghana has collaborated with the Ghana Education Service and the University of Education, Winneba to mark World Environment Day and to celebrate its 9th Anniversary. The event which was under the theme "Less Plastic More Life," took place on June 5, 2023, at the assembly grounds of University Practice Cluster of Schools, South Campus, UEW.
Carols Day with Municipal Assembly ‘CD’ Basic School, Winneba

This was the message to the pupils and teachers of the Municipal Assembly ‘CD’ Basic School, Winneba, by the Founder and CEO of Shape Attitude Ghana, Wonderful Baisie Ghartey, on the occasion of the Carols Day on 14th December 2022 organised by the school.
Tourism Society of Ghana (TOSOGA) awards Shape Attitude Ghana
Shape Attitude Ghana received an award from the Tourism Society of Ghana (TOSOGA). The award which was in the form of citation and plague was awarded at a gala night marking the end of a week-long festival dubbed YOTOFEST (Youth in Tourism Festival).
Theatre for Development is Back
Students of the Department of Theatre Arts of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) have resumed their annual field project on sanitation after the COVID-19 shut down. As part of their project work for the award of a degree, some of the final year students of the Department undertake fieldwork on sanitation in the communities. They stay in the study areas (villages) where they undertake the project which involves sensitisation and raising awareness on good sanitation and waste management practices through drama.
8th Anniversary of Shape Attitude Ghana Observed
SHAPE Attitude Ghana celebrated its 8th Anniversary on Tuesday, 14th June, 2022 with the theme “Sanitation and Aquatic Life”. The occasion was marked with a tour of pupils and teachers from 17 selected basic schools in Winneba, representatives from Ghana Education Service (GES), the Tourism Society of Ghana (TOSOGHA) and members from Shape Attitude Ghana to the estuary of River Ayensu at Sankor, a suburb of Winneba.
SHAPE Attitude Ghana and SACOST observe 2022 World Environment Day
SHAPE Attitude Ghana and the Centre for School and Community Science and Technology Studies (SACOST) of The Institute of Educational Research and Innovation Studies (IERIS), University of Education, Winneba (UEW), held a float and roundtable discussion on the topic “Only one earth: the need to protect it” to mark the 2022 World Environment Day.
