Mr Andrew Kwabena Asamoah

Executive Chairman, A&C Development Co. Ltd

Mr Andrew Kwabena Asamoah is a lawyer by profession and has post-graduate qualifications in Public Administration, Human Resources Development, Journalism and Public Relations.   He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association, Nigeria Bar Association and numerous professional societies and associations and has written extensive publications and reviews on a wide-range of management, administrative and legal issues.

He worked for over 30 years in the United Nations system.  He served in many senior executive positions in World Health Organization including Director of Human Resources, Director of Administration and Finance and Special Adviser to the Director-General.

He returned to Ghana in 2002 to set up the A&C Development Co. Ltd., a real estate development company and owners of the A&C Mall.  In addition to his position as the founder and Executive Chairman of this company, he serves on many Boards both nationally and internationally.  He is presently the President of the Board of the Institute Pasteur, in Dakar, Senegal.

In 2005 he received the Planters of Seed Award by Ghana Club 100 in recognition of his company’s contribution to the growth of industry and commerce in Ghana.  In 2008 he was awarded the national award of the Order of the Volta (Officer) for distinguished service in the private sector development of Ghana.

Mr Asamoah has been a strong supporter and advocate of SHAPE Attitude Ghana from the inception of the project in 2013 to present. He provides financial, logistic an above all moral support to the project.
